Tech ministry is the technological support of the
liturgical ministries.
In other words, making sure the sound, projection and environmental systems are
working properly to support the congregation's experience of the
mass.
Why Tech
Ministry?
Tech Ministry was created
because as technology has become more and more sophisticated the burden on
the other liturgical ministers has become overwhelming.
Tech ministry is designed for
people who find technology fascinating and would be willing to learn how
to use and troubleshoot the technology we currently use.
Tech Ministry
Training
Tech ministers choose what level of training and
subsequently what level of commitment they would like to bring to the
ministry.
Our
current need is for ministers trained to use the EasyWorship software for
projecting lyrics on the screen during mass. The training video is
found below.
Once
you've viewed the video and you're excited about further hands-on
training type-in your contact information in the form below the
video so we can get in touch and schedule some time together for further
training.

Where and When would You like to
Serve?
Truth of the matter is that we would appreciate any
type of commitment at this point. If you would be willing to do it
every week, every other week, every month or just be on standbye when
someone else can't help out... we would
appreciate all of those commitments.
You see,
only a year ago, when we had the overhead transparency projector, we could
ask someone from the congregation to help us out right before mass and
with about 30 seconds worth of instruction they could do a great
job.
As you
can see from the above video... those days are gone!
Now we
need someone who's actually been trained on the software to help us
out. Fortunately, the software is simple and fun to use - but it
does require more than 30 seconds worth of instruction :-)
